Your adventure begins with a departure from either the Operative Center or the Visitors’ Center, where you’ll delve into the jungle via the Yacaratiá trail. Specially designed trucks for this environment will take you on this immersive 5 km journey. Bilingual guides fluent in both Spanish and English will introduce you to the natural and cultural wonders of the region.
The trail culminates at Puerto Macuco, where you’ll step onto boats that sail along the Lower Iguazu River for an exhilarating 6 km, journeying toward the heart of the waterfalls area. Along the way, you’ll encounter lively rapids that add to the thrill of your adventure.
As you approach the Tres Mosqueteros Fall, a breathtaking view awaits you, showcasing the splendor of the falls on both the Argentine and Brazilian sides. This view is crowned by the magnificent sight of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). The true highlight arrives as you face the awe-inspiring San Martín waterfall, the second-largest in size and a challenge no other boat can match.
Afterward, a scenic 6 km downstream river navigation takes you back to Puerto Macuco, where you’ll disembark and take a 150-meter uphill walk. Finally, our specialized trucks will transport you 6 km back to our Operative Center, concluding this remarkable adventure.
