Grand Carimã Resort & Convention Center is a traditional resort in Foz do Iguaçu, located on Avenida das Cataratas, one of the main routes connecting the city with Iguazu Falls and other major attractions.
The property traces its history back to the 1960s, when the original Hotel Carimã was built and became an important venue for events and hospitality in Foz do Iguaçu. The hotel later underwent an extensive retrofit, preserving elements of its original character while updating the property into the modern Grand Carimã Resort & Convention Center.
Today, the resort has 300 guest rooms divided into three accommodation categories and is surrounded by internal gardens, wooded areas and fruit trees. Its large leisure infrastructure makes it particularly suitable for families, while its convention center gives the property an important role in the meetings and events segment.
The location on Avenida das Cataratas also provides convenient access to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls, Parque das Aves, Foz do Iguaçu International Airport and the city center.
Grand Carimã Resort currently offers three official accommodation categories: Luxo, Grand Luxo and Grand Suíte.
The Luxo Room offers a comfortable accommodation option equipped with either a double or Queen Size bed.
Rooms include a desk and chairs, minibar, safe, hair dryer, air conditioning, telephone, complimentary Wi-Fi and a 32-inch TV with movie channels. The windows feature sound insulation and overlook Avenida das Cataratas.
Some Luxo Rooms can also be configured as connecting rooms, making them suitable for families or guests traveling together.
The Grand Luxo Room provides an upgraded accommodation experience with a private balcony overlooking either the gardens or the swimming pool.
Available bedding includes double, Queen Size or King Size beds. Amenities include air conditioning, minibar, safe, hair dryer, desk and chairs, telephone, Wi-Fi and a 32-inch television with movie channels.
The Grand Suíte is the resort’s highest accommodation category and offers a more spacious layout with a separate living room.
It features a King Size bed, hydromassage bathtub, minibar, desk and chairs, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, two telephones and a 42-inch television. This category is designed for guests looking for additional space and comfort during their stay.

The restaurant offers a varied selection of dishes, including regional cuisine and flavors associated with the Triple Frontier.
À la carte room service is available from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Snacks, portions and beverages are available through room service 24 hours a day.
The resort includes a Piano Bar, serving drinks in a lounge environment, as well as a pool bar located beside the main outdoor leisure area.
The pool bar currently operates from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM.
Grand Carimã has an extensive pool complex. The official resort information describes three main pools, including one for adults and two for children.
The adult pool includes an adapted pool chair for wheelchair users.
The resort has two heated covered Jacuzzis, each designed for up to six people, as well as sauna facilities.
A fully equipped fitness center includes cardiovascular and exercise equipment in an air-conditioned space.
The gym currently operates from 6:30 AM to midnight.
The resort provides daily recreation for different age groups, together with a playground, game room and dedicated children’s areas.
Facilities include a 24-hour Baby Space, monitored recreation activities and outdoor play areas.
Sports and outdoor recreation facilities include a sand volleyball court, football field and beach tennis courts.
The property is surrounded by internal gardens and wooded areas, including fruit trees such as jabuticaba and pitanga.

Grand Carimã is pet-friendly for small dogs and cats weighing up to 10 kg, subject to advance reservation, availability and the hotel’s specific pet policy. A maximum of two pets is allowed per room.
The resort has a large Convention Center covering more than 7,000 m², with a combined capacity exceeding 10,000 people across its different spaces.
The largest venue, Rinascere Hall, covers approximately 1,467 m² and can accommodate up to 2,000 people in auditorium configuration. The complex also includes nine additional support rooms.
