Following breakfast, we will commence our second exploration: the Argentinean Side, which offers the most comprehensive visit at the Iguazu Falls.
The pathways on the Argentinean side of Iguazu Falls offer an enchanting expedition through dense rainforest, granting intimate encounters with the tumbling waterfalls. Here are the primary trails awaiting your exploration:
Lower Circuit (Circuito Inferior): This pathway draws you nearer to the base of the falls, presenting breathtaking perspectives from the lower elevations. Along well-maintained trails and elevated boardwalks, you’ll traverse past numerous cascades, including the iconic Salto Bosetti and Chico. The Lower Circuit invites you to embrace the misty embrace of the falls and witness the tremendous force of the cascading waters.
Upper Circuit (Circuito Superior): On this route, you’ll ascend to elevated viewpoints that overlook the falls and the encompassing scenery. The Upper Circuit unveils panoramic vistas of the cascading waters, providing an alternate viewpoint from the lower levels. Here, you’ll witness the entirety of the waterfall ensemble and admire the vastness of the Iguazu River.
The most renowned and captivating segment of the Argentinean side is the Devil’s Throat. Accessible via a distinct trail and elevated walkway, this path leads you to the precipice of the park’s largest and most formidable waterfall. As you traverse the suspended walkways above the river, you’ll be serenaded by the thunderous roar of the water and enveloped by the rising mist from the chasm below.
For those craving a more daring escapade, the Macuco Trail beckons. This extensive trail winds through the verdant jungle environment, culminating at the Arrechea Waterfall. Along the way, opportunities abound for birdwatching and wildlife encounters amidst the symphony of flowing streams and diverse flora enveloping the trail.
Prepare for an unforgettable immersion in the natural splendor of the Iguazu Falls as we embark on our exploration of the Argentinean Side.
After breakfast, we will start our journey to the south of the Misiones Province to visit the famous San Ignacio Mini Ruins.
The San Ignacio Mini Ruins stand as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, bearing witness to the Jesuit Reductions, settlements crafted by Jesuit missionaries during the 17th and 18th centuries. These efforts aimed to Christianize indigenous communities while safeguarding them from exploitation.
Founded in 1632, San Ignacio Mini emerged as a pivotal Jesuit Reduction, fostering a self-reliant community where indigenous Guarani people thrived under Jesuit guidance. The settlement boasted churches, residences, workshops, and schools, embodying a fusion of European and Guarani architectural styles. Constructed from local red sandstone, the ruins showcase elegant yet straightforward structures, with the stone church commanding attention as the heart of the community.
Despite confronting colonial conflicts and the eventual expulsion of the Jesuits from Spanish territories, the Reductions endured, fostering cultural exchange and societal evolution.
Your journey will delve into the archaeological depths of San Ignacio Mini, where well-preserved remnants tell tales of bygone eras. Guided tours illuminate the significance of the Reductions, showcasing the region’s unique cultural and architectural legacy.
Following your exploration, our path leads to Posadas, the capital of Misiones province, where a night’s rest awaits in a 4-star hotel, complete with breakfast.
Following breakfast, our journey will take us southward, traversing into the Corrientes Province. So, we will begin your journey from Posadas, the capital city of the Argentine province of Misiones.

"From Start to finish it was seamless and professional! Everything they promised was fulfilled. All parties from starting from booking the trip to the car service to the airport, to the place, getting the tickets, to our tour guide were courteous and amazing. Our tour guide Cesar was the best. Besides being knowledgable, he was easy going and made the experience so great! I recommend them 1000%.
"Searched a two day tour of both sides of Iguazu Falls and with the night reviews, decided to book from this team. From the start the communication and response was fast. Even got reminders about our transfers. When we wanted to see about changing return flights, they were quick to provide assistance. The actual tour and guides were amazing. Having a guide is essential when trying to pack in the falls on both sides. Also prebooked all our excursions, tickets and meals which helped. This is a website to place 100% trust in
"We had a superb day trip to the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. Absolutely stunning and worth the effort of going up. We did the train and boat trip, which was so much fun. Macarena was our guide and she was excellent - so knowledgeable and I learnt so much from her. With regards to organising the trip, Walter was brilliant - we had to move our trip forward by a day at the last minute due to flight changes and Walter re-scheduled our Iguazu Trip straight away. Can’t rate the whole experience more highly!
"This company put me in contact with the absolute best guide I have ever had (Gabriel.) They are responsive and made everything seamless. I would use them again in a second. I highly recommend them
