A combined program with traditional visits, and luxury camp with activities in touch with nature

The Iguazu Falls + Luxury Camp Experience is a specially designed program for visitors who want to make the most of their visit beyond just seeing the Iguazu Falls. Essentially, it’s a 4-night program that combines two nights in a hotel for excursions to the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the Iguazu Falls, ending with two nights in a luxury camp, commonly known as glamping. Here, you can enjoy hikes, boat trips, talks, and direct contact with nature in the unique natural environment of the Puerto Bemberg Reserve, very close to the Iguazu area.

This program can be extended if you’re looking to relax and spend more nights at the camp complex.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - IGUAZU FALLS

Arrive to Iguazu

Welcome to one of the most spectacular places on earth. Indeed, the Iguazu Falls have been one of the New Seven Wonders of the Natural World for several years now, and as such, they are a must-see for international travelers coming to South America. Once you arrive at the Iguazu airport (IGU or IGR), we will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. And immediately, we will begin the first visit, in this case, a half-day activity, which will take you to visit the Iguaçu National Park, located in Brazil. The park offers a natural environment and a 1500-meter walkway, which will allow you to enjoy a unique view of the falls located on the other side of the river and the majestic Devil’s Throat. There is an elevator and a terrace at the end of the tour.

Add some of the optional activities below to enhance your visit even further.

DAY 2 - IGUAZU FALLS

Visiting the Argentinian Side

Today, we will continue with our visit to this unique place in the world. After breakfast, we will get ready to visit the Argentine side. The Iguazu National Park is very extensive and offers different trails from which you can enjoy nature immersed in it. It has three main circuits: the upper, the lower, and the trail to the Devil’s Throat, which is accessed through an electric train called the Jungle Ecological Train. You can also add some activities on this day, such as the Great Adventure, to add a bit of adrenaline to the visit. In the evening, there are some interesting activities available, such as a Tango Show or a gastronomic experience.

DAY 3 - From Iguazu to the camp!

Arrive to the luxury camp

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Iguazu, Foz do Iguaçu, or either of the airports IGR or IGU. Upon arrival at the camp, nestled within the natural reserve of Puerto Bemberg, 44 km from the national park and 46 km from the airport.

The program, named the Pristine Full Program, offers:

Accommodation: in a selected suite, full board including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner featuring regional products. It includes beverages and wines. Lunch is included for stays of 2 nights or more.
Experiences organized with local guides within the Puerto Bemberg Natural Reserve, such as hiking, birdwatching, e-bikes with a host, wine tasting in our cellar, regional cooking classes, historical circuit tours, navigation on the Paraná River to Salto Jasy, and a visit to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls.

You have a variety of options to choose from, and our camp staff will assist you in planning and organizing activities to maximize your enjoyment during your stay.

Please note that the order of activities is flexible, and you may not have time to experience them all. However, it provides a range of choices for your enjoyment.

Remember, breakfast, lunch, tea time, and dinner are all included.

DAY 4 - Luxury Camp

Enjoy the Activities!

We have a list of activities to choose, so you can select with our local guides, which activities you prefer to do. The activities are listed below and in the next day, but

Long Trail Guatambu Waterfall

This activity begins with a hike 50 meters from the main house. The path descends until reaching the Guatambu stream where you cross a hanging bridge before descending towards the Paraná River. You will encounter a panoramic point of the river where you may be able to see Paraguay. This trail is ideal for birdwatching, interpreting native flora, and delighting in the pure air of the Misiones jungle. At the end of this activity, you can enjoy an incredible view of the Guatambu Waterfall and snacks.

Short Trail Guatambu Waterfall

The journey begins halfway along the main property access. The path descends towards the Guatambu stream, which is surrounded along the way. It culminates in observing the waterfall and observing the surrounding flora and fauna.

North Lookout Trail

It begins by crossing a watercourse near the main house and ascends towards the south-north, skirting the Paraná River. Along the way, you can observe the native nature of Misiones as well as panoramic points of the river.

Salto Jasy River Excursion:

This exhilarating river journey is ideal for families seeking adventure. Departing from Pristine Iguazú, we head to the port where we board a spacious semi-rigid boat. We navigate upstream along the Paraná until we reach the entry point of Salto Jasy. Upon arrival, a brief hike awaits us to reach the breathtaking Salto Jasy. Here, nestled in a tranquil setting, we can unwind, dip into the rejuvenating river waters, and enjoy a delightful picnic amidst the sprawling natural landscape. To wrap up this memorable adventure, a delectable lunch awaits us back at the camp. This experience presents a remarkable opportunity to reconnect with nature and forge enduring memories with loved ones.

Mate Ceremony:

The Jesuit mate ritual, unfolding at sunset along the Paraná River, offers a captivating voyage into the region’s history and culture. This distinct encounter narrates the Bemberg Family’s legacy in the area and the traditional preparation of mate over an open flame. Participants are treated to sweeping river views and insights into Argentina’s cherished national drink. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to indulge in a light snack, fostering camaraderie, and savoring the authentic flavors of the region. Local delicacies complement the rich taste of the wood-fire-brewed mate.

Historical Center Bicycle Excursion:

Embark on a cycling journey from the Main House, traversing the entirety of the reserve’s Historic Center. Along the way, discover the region’s diverse flora and fauna while passing by the Mansion and the chapel of the Puerto Bemberg Reserve.

Culinary Workshop:

Partake in immersive cooking sessions led by our skilled chef, where you can master the art of crafting regional or daily specialties. The venue for these workshops may vary based on weather conditions, offering a choice between the dining room or terrace setting.

Bonfire Legends Discussion:

Immerse yourself in the realm of gaucho poetry during a captivating storytelling session around the bonfire. Listen to tales and Guarani legends while unwinding with a glass of wine amidst the tranquil night ambiance and the company of nocturnal nature.

Argentinian Side Iguazu Falls Excursion:

Embark on a half-day adventure from Pristine Iguazú to explore the awe-inspiring wonders of the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. Discover the majestic Devil’s Throat and meander through the lower circuit of walkways at Iguazú National Park. Afterward, return to the camp for lunch. Alternatively, guests may choose to extend their exploration of walkway circuits or opt for additional river navigation at a supplementary cost, with pre-arranged transfer arrangements. Crisis managers who go the extra mile.

"Every derail was attended to promptly and cheerfully. We had an in-flight emergency needing a last minute change and Lucia and Ramiro were all over it. They turned what could have been a travel disaster due to airlines cancellations into a wonderful two day experience at Iguazu Falls. They are great! Thank you!

Iguazu Falls - last minute booking

"We had a last minute decision going to the Iguazu Falls enroute a visit to Rio. We flew from Canada and arrived São Paulo on 23rd Feb morning, and Foz do Iguazu at night time. During the time we were at São Paulo airport, we looked for Iguazu Falls tours the next day, coz we would leave for Rio on 25th Feb. What a blessing I found this website. Walter promptly arranged the tour for me at almost the closing of business hours. He followed up assuring the hotel pick up at 9am the next morning on 24th Feb. Joao was one of the best tour guides I had. With his guide, we saw the best parts of the Falls from both sides of Argentina and Brazil. While hiking the Argentina side trail, we saw monkeys, a poisonous snake, birds, butterflies catfish, lizards and many more. Joao explained to us how some of the endangered species were protected. Very interesting. Joao assisted us to go through customs. It was very smooth going from Brazil to Argentina and coming back. We were so much into taking photos we forgot about our lunch. We felt very sorry for Joao but he just kept going to all the best points so we could take our best pictures. Our apologies. When the trip was finished, Walter checked with us to make sure we were safely back to our hotel. I am very thankful to Walter and his team. Can't believe Mother Nature creating such a magnificent landscape, and we could see it without hassle last minute. Such a wonderful time! I would highly recommend Walter to everyone. Thanks again, Walter and Joao.

Best Service for Seeing Iguazu Falls

"Can't imagine a better, more seamless trip experience to Iguazu Falls. Communication with Lucia through the entire process was excellent, and each and every aspect of the adventure was better than we could have imagined. Everything was perfectly aligned and delivered without a hitch. We were a bit nervous about our driver getting us to the airport on time from the cruise port. We were originally scheduled to disembark at 7am, but we actually got off at 6:15 and right there was our driver!! And every other transport was equally as excellent. We loved our private Falls guide, Elisangela, who went the distance to ensure we had a truly wonderful experience. We are so so glad we decided to do both sides, and to spend the night in Iguazu. The Falls are beyond comprehension, and no pictures do them justice. Loved trekking around the area where every bend brought new amazing vistas and sounds. Yes, Devil's Throat is closed and will be for awhile, but that in no way detracted from our experience. Stayed at the Grand Panorama Hotel. Very lovely place only 3-minute walk from the main area with shops, restaurants, etc. Very convenient for getting out and about. We also appreciated the options for additional things to do in the area. We selected the Argentinian Dining Experience and the Bird Park in Brazil. The dining experience is something not to be missed! We had so much fun with the other guests and the two instructors/chefs/mixologists. Best filet mignon ever eaten, and that's saying a lot because we are Michelin star foodies! It was a memorable evening that we will be talking about for a long time to come!! And we enjoyed our time seeing some of the many birds of South America. Great conservation facility where the birds are well-taken care of and safe. Everything about our trip was top-notch! Couldn't recommend a better group of people to work with.
