Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazú. If staying in Argentina, the journey includes immigration procedures and border waiting times may affect duration.
At Iguaçu National Park, enter the visitor center and board the park’s internal transportation. Walk the approximately 1.5-kilometer Brazilian Falls circuit, enjoying continuous panoramic views of the Argentine waterfalls. The trail ends near the main walkway, viewpoints and elevator overlooking Devil’s Throat.
Continue to Parque das Aves, close to the national park entrance. Follow the sanctuary’s walking route through large Atlantic Forest aviaries, observing toucans, macaws and other rescued or protected species.
The order of the attractions may change to reduce queues or adapt to operating schedules.
Return to your hotel after both visits. Total duration is generally six to eight hours, depending on hotel location, border delays and visitor flow.
Admission to Iguaçu National Park and Parque das Aves must be listed separately in the booking summary. Unless explicitly shown as included, entrance tickets must be purchased in addition to the tour.
If for any reason, you decide to cancel the activity or excursion, the cancellation conditions specified in the product description or in the voucher will be valid.
In the event that the cancellation conditions in the product description do not differ, the provider of tourist services will charge you the following cancellation fees:
a. Up to 72 hours before the start of the activity: full refund (again we indicate that in certain specific cases the term may differ from this general policy)
b. After 72 hours before the start of the activity: no refund.
Yes, the tour operates year-round. Availability on holidays is subject to confirmation.
There are no specific age restrictions. The tour is suitable for all ages.
The Brazilian side has accessible pathways; however, some sections may require moderate walking. Assistance may be needed in certain areas.
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the scheduled departure time.
The full experience lasts approximately 6 to 8 hours, depending on border crossing times and park flow.
Yes. This is one of the easiest combinations because Parque das Aves is close to the Brazilian National Park entrance. Most travelers can enjoy both without feeling rushed when the day is organized well.
Allow enough time to walk through the aviaries at a relaxed pace, stop for photographs and read the conservation information. Wildlife enthusiasts may want longer.
Yes. It is especially popular with families because children can see colorful birds and other wildlife at close range. Parents should supervise children and follow park instructions.
Parque das Aves includes immersive aviary environments where visitors can walk through large habitats with some birds flying freely within controlled spaces.
Its focus is closely connected to Atlantic Forest bird conservation, rescue, education and species protection. The product page should emphasize conservation rather than describing it simply as an animal attraction.
It is very close to the entrance area of the Brazilian National Park, which is why combining both is so convenient.
Either can work. The order depends on park schedules, crowds and additional activities. A guide can arrange the day to reduce waiting.
Families with strollers should check current accessibility information for both attractions. Most main visitor areas are designed for broad public access, but terrain and crowding can vary.
Often yes, depending on availability and timing. Because the heliport is also on the Brazilian side, it is a logical addition but should be booked in advance.
" This was an excellent way to see Iguazu Falls and feel totally taken care of. Everything went really well from the initial contact to help us plan the trip to the airport transfers, flights, tour guide/driver and hotel. The tour guide/driver was great at flexibly meeting our needs and interests and making sure we got as much out of the 2 days as possible. He was very informed about the area and things to do. We could not have asked for a better way to experience this magnificent wonder from God.
" Fantastic experience and certainly worth visiting. The guide was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and punctual. Visits to the waterfalls and the Itaipu dam was just perfect for a day trip.
"Our trip was amazing. Our guide Cesar was the best! He was flexible and so accommodating when rain threatened our trip. He made schedule adjustments and ensured we had the best views of the falls. The entire team did an excellent job from start to finish. Betty and Curt
"We had a great time visiting Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side. The one day visit which started from our hotel in Rio de Janeiro in the morning and ended with returning to the same hotel in the night went according to plan without any hitches. Our thanks to Walter who made all the arrangements for the visit.
"Our Iguazu Falls trip was great! A highlight of our time in South America. Jorge was a great guide. We arrived not knowing much about the falls, so we had to rely on Jorge to drive the itinerary which took a little prompting on our part. We did not realize that we would be so far from a city with restaurants, so be prepared to eat at the park lodge (which was pretty good).
