Kindly peruse the following optional activities to enhance your visit to Iguaçu National Park in Brazil.

DAY 2 - IGUAZU FALLS

The argentinian side

Following your morning meal, prepare yourself for a memorable experience that could very well be the pinnacle of your journey. You’ll venture to Iguazu National Park, situated on the Argentine side, and what makes this park stand out? Well, it’s renowned for its comprehensive offerings. Its pathways wind through the jungle, providing various vantage points to admire the magnificent Iguazu Falls. The lower loop, the upper circuit, and the path leading to the Devil’s Throat, accessed via the Ecological Jungle Train, constitute the primary routes. This national park boasts an extensive network of trails, totaling up to 8 kilometers. Throughout your exploration, consider adding a lunch break and perhaps indulge in the Gran Aventura, an adventurous endeavor allowing you to delve into the jungle and navigate the Iguazu River, even venturing beneath the cascading falls! Upon completion, return to your hotel. However, your day need not end there; consider partaking in one of the evening activities available. Explore the options below.

DAY 3 - FROM IGUAZU TO EL SOBERBIO

Welcome to El Soberbio Lodge

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel and head south towards El Soberbio Lodge. This lodge is located 6 km from the town of El Soberbio, better known as the capital of essences. From there, you can reach Moconá Provincial Park via a paved road.

El Soberbio Lodge offers its guests trails to explore, a swimming pool, activities, regional meals, and excursions. Here, we include a total of 2 nights, with meals and activities included. Check-in upon arrival.

The hotel features comfortable rooms of different categories. Please review which option suits you best or ask our sales team for more information.

About 20 km away lies the Yaboty Biosphere, 250,000 hectares of jungle where only a few Guarani villages currently exist.

From the rooms, you can appreciate the citronella fields, a natural repellent, the Uruguay River, the jungle, and the shores of Brazil.

Within the 30-hectare property, there are 5 km of marked trails that are part of the old road used by settlers with their ox carts. It’s a wonderful activity to enjoy the place.

DAY 4 - EL SOBERBIO LODGE

Visiting the Mocona Falls

After breakfast, we will enjoy one of the most amazing shows of nature in the area.

Visiting Mocona Falls from El Soberbio Lodge is an extraordinary experience that immerses travelers in the captivating natural beauty of the Mocona River and its stunning waterfalls. From the lodge, visitors embark on an adventure-filled journey through the lush landscapes of Misiones, Argentina, to reach the renowned Mocona Falls, also known as the “Yucumã” Falls.

The journey typically begins with a scenic drive or boat ride along the Mocona River, where travelers can marvel at the picturesque surroundings and spot diverse flora and fauna along the way. As you approach the falls, the sound of rushing water grows louder, heightening anticipation for the breathtaking sight that awaits.

Upon arrival at Mocona Falls, visitors are greeted by the mesmerizing sight of the river plunging dramatically over a series of rugged cliffs, creating a stunning natural spectacle. The falls stretch for approximately three kilometers, offering ample opportunities for exploration and admiration of its sheer beauty.

Travelers can engage in various activities at Mocona Falls, including guided hiking tours along the riverbanks, boat rides to get closer to the cascades, and birdwatching to spot the rich avian diversity that inhabits the surrounding rainforest.

One of the most unique aspects of Mocona Falls is its “disappearing” nature, where during certain times of the year, the water level in the river drops, revealing the rocky riverbed beneath and creating the illusion that the falls have vanished. This phenomenon adds an extra layer of intrigue to the already captivating landscape.

After a day of adventure and exploration at Mocona Falls, visitors return to El Soberbio Lodge, where they can relax and reflect on their unforgettable experience amidst the pristine wilderness of Misiones.

Travel to Iguazu from Buenos Aires was memorable.

"Travel to Iguazu from Buenos Aires was easy and direct. We made transfer arrangements from the airport to our hotel in advance. Our two night stay at Gran Melia could not have been more enjoyable. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the location is superb. We enjoyed amazing views of the falls from our room, and everywhere else throughout the hotel and its grounds. A short, simple walk brought us up close to even more amazing and breathtaking views. One of the most memorable resort experiences we’ve had.

The day trip from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls

"The day trip from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls was fantastic! The transfers to and from the hotel to AEP airport were great. They were reliable and on time even though we caught an earlier flight back to Buenos Aires which changed the pickup time. Your agent, Walter Guiterriz coordinated the original booking with me, and he was very professional and responsive. He also helped with the last-minute change to the return pick up time due to the earlier flight. Our local guide at the Falls was very knowledgeable and guided us such that we avoided large crowds. Overall, it was well organized, seamless and went as planned. The Falls exceeded expectations and making the trip was well worth it. Highly recommend! Thank you for providing this service.

Excellent 2 day tour of Iguazu Falls

"We wanted the 2 day tour but was only able to reach the Fall at 1:00pm. Lucia suggested doing the Brazilian side on the first day as there is only one circuit here leaving a full day to explore the various circuits on the Argentinian side plus the boat ride. Everything worked out well. The transfers from hotel/airport was smooth and the driver was waiting for us every time. Our guide Cesar for the 2 days was great. He was friendly, punctual and knows the ins and out so we spent minimal time crossing the border. The schedule and pace he set for us was just right as we were seniors. We were not disappointed with this 2 day tour and saw and experienced what we came to see. We also attended the Tango and dinner show at the Iguazu Grand and was seated right in front of the stage.
